Introduction to film industry

The processes from idea to cinema exhibtion are of the following:

• production
• distribution
• exhibition(cinema)
• exhitbition(non-cinema)

In production there are three different processes pre-production, production and post production. In pre-production it includes the planning creating the script and producing storyboards which illutrates the type of sots made and what the setting of the scene would look like. In the actually production it involves the shooting and recording of the film. And the post production is the editing and creating the final copy of the film.

The distribution is the process that is gone through after the post production do this would be delivering the film to the audience through film prints which is a way of advertising the film to the audience. The distribution also includes making DVDs avaliable to the audience.
